The Celebration Is Back

Brazilian Day Connecticut was founded by Ester Sanches Naek in 2005 with a mission to celebrate Brazilian culture and share the traditions, identity, and spirit of Brazil with the wider Connecticut community.

For a decade, Brazilian Day brought music, food, cultural performances, and the vibrant spirit of Brazil to Hartford. The festival’s last edition took place in 2015. Now, after more than a decade away, Brazilian Day Hartford returns in 2026.

A new generation will have the opportunity to experience this beloved tradition, while those who remember the original Brazilian Day can come together to celebrate its return.
